Earlier this month on a very warm day in Oakland, two kind and authentic people were married in a uniquely stunning venue. It was a day filled with personal touches, fabulous music, with even better dancing, and top notch speeches. I learned so much about the bride and groom from their close friends-turned-officiants during the ceremony and from family during their funny, detailed and musically inspired speeches. These two were destined to be together in more ways than one. And the best part? The amount of people from all over the country who came to support their first day as a married couple.
